College Curling

(Harvard, MIT, and Broomstones coaches at the 2022 College Curling Championship in Fargo, North Dakota)

Broomstones welcomes local college students on Fridays 4-6pm.  We take curlers of all experience levels, with the large majority joining as new curlers.  Practices feature instructing first-time curlers, developing skills through drills and coaching, and playing matches between local colleges and occasionally visitors from schools like Bowdoin and Yale.

Broomstones provides everything you need to begin curling, including equipment and instruction.  All you need are clean athletic shoes, pants you can comfortably perform a deep lunge in, and the desire to learn something new!  Your first time on the ice is always free.  Afterwards, membership to join the college league is $30/semester.  We also welcome students from other programs on the College Curling Tour who are in the Boston area for holidays, breaks, or co-op semesters.
